Dave,

Really appreciate your kind comments on my site recently, always great to hear from a like minded enthusiast. I have to say I'm very glad you did - you have some stunning shots on here and I'm not sure how I've missed it before, it'll keep me busy for a while! So many birds I've never even seen, really gives me the urge to get out there!
I have added a link on my site to here, hope that's ok.

Look forward to seeing more of your pictures!

Dave...you visited my website recently and left a very complimentary note. I've been meaning to get back to yours and finally remembered. I love all aspects of your work but your birds really stand out. The quality and clarity of your flight pictures are stunning. It really amazes me how many species of water birds we share being an ocean apart. We recently had a European Wigeon here and it caused quite a bit of interest in the birding community. Spring migration is on and with it comes more opportunities each day. Enjoy the spring season...Butch

Hi Dave: Thank You for looking at my Zenfolio site. Appreciated. Your Bird shots are Fantastic. Superbly sharp & Clear. Mind you, your Butterflies and Flowers are also excellent. You certainly got the Eye! Now all I gota do is Practice and practise and I might get as half as good as yourself. Loved looking at the images. I like the way you have put your shots into folders that are dated by the month you took them.
I shall definatly be back to take more looks very soon.
Take Care & Good Photography to you.
Happy New Year.
66.Bill Fleites Photography
Awesome shots David !!!
I'd say that you've gotten very very good indeed with your photography "hobby" since your retirement. You have a wonderful collection of great shots and I'll be spending a lot of time going thru them and keep saying "Wow, nice shot I need to get a shot of one of those !"
65.East Bay Images Photography-Butch Lombardi
Dave: Thanks for the compliment on my web page. I took a quick look at your's and I really like you bird pictures. Nice clear, sharp images of birds we don't see here in new England. I noticed at least some were taken in Sherwood Forest. Is that the same Sherwood Forest the was home to Robin Hood? If it is what a great line to add to the title. Photographed in Sherwood Forest. I'll look more closely when I get some free time (after the holidays). I noticed you have the Canon 500mm. I use the 100-400 zoom. It's a little more versatile but doesn't have the range of the 500. Must be a great wildlife lens....Merry Christmas...Butch
